Just In! President Buhari Makes 2 Appointments In Top Agencies

Uchechi Orji, the managing director of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), has been re-appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari for another term of five years. The reappointment of Orji was made known in a statement by the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, on Thursday, October 12.
According to the statement, Orji, who has been serving in that position since October 2012 for an initial term of five years, renewable for another term of five years, was reappointed by the president following his achievement at the government agency.
Femi Adesina stated that under Orji’s leadership, the NSIA had made remarkable strides, and its assets now stand at over $2 billion, which is invested in Nigerian Infrastructure, Economic Stabilization and Future Generation Funds. The presidential aide said in line with section 16(2) of the NSIA Act, the National Economic Council had in July, 2017, endorsed the renewal of Orji’s appointment, given his performance in the first term.
The statement added that the president also approved the nomination of Professor Isa Hayatu Chiroma from Adamawa state as the director general of the Nigerian Law School. Chiroma who is a Professor of Law, and currently the deputy director in charge of the Yola campus of the Nigerian Law School will succeed Mr Olanrewaju Onadeko, who is due for retirement.

An Unidentified is all thankful to God, and apple, after her rose gold iPhone saved her life, during the horrific Las Vegas shooting on Sunday Night.

According to reports from DailyMail Uk, the woman showed her cab driver her damaged phone after the horrific attack, which has so far left 59 people dead, and ovr 527 injured.

A photo of the pricey and popular device shows the back of the iPhone completely shattered after being hit by a single bullet.

It’s unclear how or where the woman was holding the phone while fleeing the scene of the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.

Gunman Stephen Paddock, 64, died from what’s believed to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Police say Paddock started firing down on the crowd of 22,000 people at the concert from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino.

His motive for the horrendous attack is being investigated by police and federal authorities.

The founder of Mountain of Blessing and Miracle Church of Christ, Dr. Olagorioye Faleyimu, has predicted the death popular televangelist, TB Joshua among other doom prophecies for the year 2017. 

Daily Post reports that Faleyimu who made the predictions on Sunday, December 25, in his church in Lagos said Joshua’s time is near. “T.B Joshua should be prayerful so as not to lose a child before he goes because his time is near,” the cleric said. Article I of the Convention defines an “internationally protected person as “A Head of State, including any member of a collegial body performing the functions of a Head of State under the constitution of the State concerned, a Head of Government or a Minister of Foreign Affairs, whenever such person is in a foreign state ….”

“The acts and utterances of IPOB were acts and utterances of terrorists, said the federal government after the organization was proscribed, but Fein in a fresh appeal to the world body said that Nnamdi Kanu, qualifies as a ‘Head of State.’ “In sum, Nnamdi Kanu, qualifies as a “Head of State” under the Convention. He is one of a group of IPOB leaders who perform the core government function in the South East region of Nigeria of protecting the physical safety of innocent civilian Biafrans from predation or murder by Hausa-Fulani terrorists. Investigations shows that Mr Fein is currently a lead lawyer at the Lichfield Group a law firm that holds many global partnerships in addition to its political and media consulting.
On its own website it alludes to directing or managing global concerns, including assisting foreign governments to influence the United States Congress. In recent years, Fein has had his ethics called to question over a money laundering scandal involving the Turkish Coalition Of America (TCA) and Republican Representative Jean Schmidt from Ohio. This prompted a House Ethics Committee hearing in August of 2011. Although Fein was representing Schmidt, a U.S Congressman, he had been in collaboration with the TCA and the Turkish lobby for sometime. Its not hard to think there may have been a conflict of interest.
Sibel Edmonds, a well-known FBI whistleblower had this to say about Fein’s character: “With Bruce Fein you have exactly the opposite stand. He has been a crusty foreign lobbyist making millions of dollars peddling his foreign bosses’ interests and influence in Congress and government agencies. For Fein it has never mattered who the foreign client or what their agenda. He does not care whether his foreign clients are criminals or terrorists or dictators. As long as they pay him handsomely he’ll sell their agenda and interest no matter what they may be.”

Breaking: Biafra: President Trump makes maiden move, dispatches top US Congressmen to Nigeria on Biafra Referendum

PARIS, OCTOBER 2, 2017: (DGW) If the email in the possession of dailyglobewatch is anything to go by, the United State Present has taken a maiden move to dialogue with his Nigerian counterpartuhari on the need to look into the agitation raging on in Nigeria’s southeast.

The southeast which is the epicentre of agitation is fighting for a breakaway state of Biafra, a move which the Nigerian authorities remain fundamentally opposed to considering the proscription of a frontline separatist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) and later by an order from the Federal High Court, Abuja designating the group a terrorist organization.

Reacting to this development, the US mission in Nigeria has since issued a statement that it does not consider IPOB a terrorist group under US laws, a position which was also upheld by the British Government.

However, in an email in the possession of Daily Globe Watch, the US President will be setting up a Committee under the auspices of the Department of State’s Bureau of African Affairs made up of some leading US congressmen to lead a maiden delegation to President Muhammadu Buhari on the need to look into the agitation for a peaceful resolution of the crisis, a position which the US commission in Nigeria had earlier held.

The email read in part: ”President Donald Trump is gravely concerned about the agitation by separatists’ movements in Nigeria particularly in the country’s southeast where there had been reported cases of extreme use of force by the Nigerian military.

While the US supports the unity of Nigeria but the Nigerian authorities must look into the grievances of the agitators for a peaceful resolution.

”The US, however, will also not encourage violent agitation in any form against Nigeria’s constituted authorities and hereby urge the agitators to respect the laws of their country for a peaceful resolution of the crisis.

On a referendum, the US president said the regional governments will also be visited by the team of visiting US congressmen to hold meetings with the governors of the region and the Houses of Assembly after meeting with the President of Nigeria in Abuja.

”Our team made up of top congressmen will be meeting His Excellency, the President of Nigeria in Abuja after which the delegation will proceed to the southeast for extensive consultations with the leaders of the region comprising the Governors and lawmakers in the regional Houses of Assembly as no one can make any pronouncement without seeking their expressed consent.”

”We do hope the crisis unfolding in Nigeria will be resolved peacefully and on a peaceful resolution, we irrevocably stand.” , the statement added.
